Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this full-time, remote role, you'll play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service, technical support, and guidance to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
  • Managing customer accounts, providing technical support, and resolving issues efficiently
  • Entering application data accurately and promptly
  • Responding to online chat inquiries and providing support as assigned
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulated guidelines
  • Demonstrating creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively managing time and tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities, and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Committing to extensive self-study, training, and testing to ensure eligibility to proceed through certifications and role requirements

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • To be at least 18 years old
  • A minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s and a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
  • A personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period
  • Cable/Fiber Broadband Internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite connections are not compatible)
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills and a high level of comfort learning new technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism
  • Self-motivation, success-driven attitude, and comfort working from home

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

While not required, the following experience and skills are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles
  • Familiarity with Group and/or Individual health insurance, the Affordable Care Act, or related fields
  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish bilingual skills, which can be a significant advantage in this role
