What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls from members and resolving inquiries to ensure quality service
  • Cross-selling credit union products and services to enhance member relationships
  • Assisting and training members in using automated services provided by the credit union
  • Complying with regulations and completing account transaction requests efficiently
  • Training other service center employees as needed

What is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to twelve months of related experience, including call center or branch experience
  • Must be MSR Certified or complete Certification within 3 months of hire
  • Basic computer operating skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate patiently and courteously with members

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

If you have:

  • Previous experience with Symitar and 10-Key
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
  • Familiarity with credit union policies and procedures
  • You'll be well-positioned to excel in this role and take your career to the next level.
