We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Healthcare Customer Service Associate to join our arenaflex Operations team on a part-time basis. This role has the potential to transition into a full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is redefining the approach to pre-condition and chronic condition care management. As a key player in our team, you will provide comprehensive customer and technical support across our products, ensuring seamless operations and minimal patient downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer support to patients, addressing both hardware and software issues related to our products and services
  • Troubleshoot medical devices and patient-facing app issues, ensuring prompt resolutions and minimal disruptions to patient care
  • Collaborate with internal teams, outside vendors, and support the deployment and return of hardware, ensuring our equipment is in optimal condition and ready for operational use
  • Assist in the completion of Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), order device replacements as needed, and potentially support patient onboarding
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and processes to foster knowledge sharing and future reference, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts
  • Cross-collaborate with our Third Party Logistics (3PL) and device support vendor to facilitate top-tier patient support for device troubleshooting
  • Participate in other projects as assigned, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment to our mission

Essential Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of providing exceptional customer support in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, providers, and team members
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, constantly evolving digital healthcare environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience conducting customer support calls with patients, with a strong understanding of common medical terminology
  • Practical experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, ZenDesk, Notion, and Microsoft Excel, demonstrating familiarity with popular workplace platforms
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively assist patients with technical issues and provide empathetic support
  • Experience working with patients with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and varying technical aptitudes, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and patient-centered care
