Job Summary: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our team, responsible for delivering outstanding support to our customers. As a key ambassador of our brand, you will provide general service inquiries, resolve customer concerns, and educate customers on the value of our existing insurance and non-insurance products. This role is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction and retention, positioning our client brand as a trusted and reliable partner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Respond to incoming customer service calls from policyholders, group members, and other customers in a courteous, professional, and prompt manner, adhering to our quality program metrics to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Update and maintain accurate customer billing and eligibility information in our administrative system
  • Process and fulfill customer requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with policies, procedures, and product changes, including active offers to members, to provide informed support
  • Share successes, customer feedback, and new ideas with team members to promote continuous improvement and an excellent customer experience
  • Perform other miscellaneous functions and special projects as assigned, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment to our team's success
  • Engage in soft sales activities, identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships and drive business growth

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a solid foundation for your career
  • Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume customer call center, where you have developed strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, enabling you to provide empathetic and effective support
  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to work independently or as a team member, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office, facilitating your work and ensuring seamless communication

Those with Claims experience may be eligible for a Level II position upon successful completion of training, offering a clear path for career advancement.

What We Offer:

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly rate of $18.00, you will enjoy a regular call center schedule, with the first 60 days spent in-office for training. Upon completion of training, you will transition to a fully remote work arrangement, providing the flexibility and work-life balance you deserve.
