What You'll Do:

As a Customer Support Representative on our Veterinary Assistance team, you will:

  • Directly communicate with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests
  • Conduct thorough examinations and issue resolution to determine suitable solutions for clients and center partners, and follow up as necessary to resolve issues
  • Complete accurate data entry of solutions into arenaflex's healthcare software
  • Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
  • Work with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and thoughtfulness to clients and partners alike
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, as we share feedback, receive input, and work in a culture of openness and development
  • Engage in conversations with veterinary facilities via telephone (occasionally other channels) on various topics, primarily utilizing our internal program and systems to explore solutions and record center note accounts, requiring thoroughness
  • Expect a significant portion of the typical business day to involve outbound veterinary facility/client telephone contacts

What You'll Need:

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
  • Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and stand out with attention to detail
  • Possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (if required)
  • Display decisive reasoning abilities
  • Exhibit the ability to perform multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Be adaptable to change as per the business needs of the organization
  • Be flexible with your schedule and willing to stay at work longer than required, as needed by the specialty unit
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
  • Pass a personal background check
  • Be punctual and committed to being your best
