In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of virtual devices for our networking products. Lead the design and development of virtual devices for Broadcom's networking products. Utilize in-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies to drive innovation and create cutting-edge solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the virtual devices meet product requirements and standards. Manage the entire development cycle, from concept to delivery, while meeting project timelines and budget. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team to improve their technical skills and contribute to their professional growth. Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements related to virtualization technologies. Identify and address potential technical challenges and risks, and provide effective solutions to ensure smooth project execution. Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to understand market requirements and incorporate them into the virtual device design. Ensure the virtual devices are scalable, reliable, and performant to meet the needs of our global customer base. Continuously assess and improve the virtual device design and development processes to ensure efficiency and quality. Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert within the Virtual Devices team and across the organization. Represent Broadcom in industry events and conferences to showcase our virtual device solutions and drive brand awareness.
