Training Consultant - Learning and Organizational Development

• Conducts training classes and leads structured facilitated programs.
• Uses instructional design methodology to develop training, job aids, and other learning materials.
• Collaborates with members of Learning Services and divisional HR managers to develop, implement, and monitor learning solutions.
• Collaborates with members of Learning Services and Workplace Culture and Belonging to develop, implement and monitor learning solutions.
• Solicits feedback on the effectiveness of Workplace Culture and Belonging training programs and implements appropriate changes.
• Serves as trainer and program coach for mentor program.
• Solicits feedback on the effectiveness of training programs and implements appropriate changes.
• May help coordinate scheduling of training classes and instructors.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor's degree in education, human resource development, communications or a related field.
• Three years of professional training or teaching experience. DDI, Crucial Conversations and/or CPLP certifications preferred. ]
• Experience in higher educational setting preferred.
• Strong time management skills.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
