Job Overview

As a Billing Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting both internal and external customers by ensuring timely resolution of benefits questions, maintaining accurate data entry, and providing essential reporting to help achieve arenaflex's revenue goals. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, and your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Encounter Management: + Complete all necessary encounters for various practices, ensuring accurate data entry in the appropriate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. + Collaborate with our team to ensure timely resolution of benefits questions and accurate data entry.

• Optometrist Referral Processing:

+ Manage the referral process for optometrists by entering referrals from the EHR into Salesforce. + Perform benefits verification prior to sending information to the Enrollment Manager.

• Out-of-Pocket (OOP) Cost Ticket Requests:

+ Address tickets related to OOP costs as generated by the Customer Care (CC) team.

• Eligibility Queries:

+ Respond to eligibility-related questions from the Enrollment Team as needed, utilizing EHR data.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with experience in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably NexTech or Athena.
• Experience with clinical data entry. (Preferred)
• Familiarity with Salesforce. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of full cycle billing or coding processes. (Preferred)

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
