Responsibilities

As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
  • Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
  • Identifying customer needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and alternatives to meet their needs
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle customer inquiries
  • Performing data entry and customer service tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Navigating online platforms efficiently to verify credentials and process customer requests
  • Working requests and records received for customers requesting to sign up for shifts
  • Identifying customer needs, researching to determine if requests have the necessary credentials
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to change tasks seamlessly without compromising efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, with a strong commitment to being available and responsive to customers
  • Providing positive and professional interactions with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a strong background in call center or office environments
  • Technical savvy, with experience in navigating online platforms and using software applications
  • Previous remote work experience, with a strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Quick learning skills, with the ability to adapt to new processes and technologies
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check that meets state and federal laws, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security
  • The ability to type 35 words per minute accurately, with high attention to detail and accuracy

Pay and Benefits

As a Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you can expect:

  • Starting pay of $14/hour, with a shift differential of $1/hour for nights and weekends
  • Opportunities for pay increases after 90 days, pending attendance and performance
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including paid training, health insurance, and retirement plans
  • A flexible schedule, with shifts between 8:00am-8:00pm (EST) and rotating weekends

  • A reliable and secure internet connection, with a dedicated high-speed connection
  • A dedicated work area, with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
  • A laptop or desktop computer, with a processor of Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
  • 8GB of memory, with a screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher and dual monitors
  • A USB headset, with up-to-date antivirus software and a recent scan completed
  • A firewall enabled, with a commitment to maintaining security and confidentiality
