In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and entering prior authorization data for healthcare services, ensuring that all information is accurate and processed in a timely manner. This is an essential role in supporting our healthcare clients by facilitating the smooth approval process for medical services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist – Prior Authorization Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering patient and authorization information into the system, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Reviewing medical records and verifying required documentation for prior authorization requests, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Communicating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and ensure that all data is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all patient data in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all sensitive information is protected and secure.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in data entry, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes, ensuring that you understand the complexities of healthcare data and can accurately enter and process prior authorization requests.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring that all data is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
