Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to resolve patient medical billing inquiries
  • Collecting payments and addressing patient concerns regarding medically billed charges
  • Providing exceptional customer service through friendly, professional, and empathetic communication
  • Utilizing electronic medical systems to navigate patient records and resolve billing issues
  • Meeting daily quality and productivity quotas, as well as contributing to the overall success of the project
  • Maintaining accurate time tracking and reporting
  • Participating in online team meetings and company Q&A forums
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Previous experience working with electronic medical systems
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and software programs
  • Friendly and professional demeanor, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • High-speed internet access and a reliable personal computer (Windows-based, capable of running multiple systems and software programs)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and productivity quotas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with health insurance billing and resolution
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
