Responsibilities

As an Evening Part-Time Remote Chat Support Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support via live chat during evening hours. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues related to orders, billing, subscriptions, and promotions
  • Using templates and saved replies to respond quickly and consistently
  • Tagging each conversation for internal tracking and analytics
  • Escalating complex issues to Tier 2 support when necessary
  • Maintaining a helpful, professional, and calm tone throughout your shift

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A desktop or laptop (Mac or PC)
  • Chrome browser
  • High-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps)
  • Typing speed of 45 WPM
  • Strong written English and ability to follow scripts
  • Quiet work environment during scheduled shifts

Training Program

Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Our training program includes:

  • 2 hours of training videos focused on night shift workflows
  • Mock chats with response coaching
  • First shift monitored by a QA lead
  • Go live within 3-5 business days after acceptance

Sample Evening Shift

Here's an example of what an evening shift might look like:

  • You work from 6 PM-10 PM
  • A customer needs help finding their welcome email - you resend the activation link
  • Another user wants to pause their membership - you walk them through it using a macro
  • A third asks about a loyalty discount - you verify their eligibility
  • All communication is chat-only - calm, structured, and quiet
