Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for entering and updating patient data into our electronic database, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of data entry. You'll work closely with our healthcare providers and other team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness, while also maintaining confidentiality and privacy of all patient data.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient demographic and medical information into our electronic database, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all data entry tasks

  • Update and maintain patient records as needed, including reviewing data for accuracy and making necessary corrections
  • Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incorrect information, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of all patient data, adhering to HIPAA regulations and arenaflex's data protection policies
  • Keep track of all incoming and outgoing data, maintaining a log of completed work and ensuring data integrity
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including data analysis and reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in medical terminology and data entry principles

  • Previous experience in data entry, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient typing and data entry skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus, as is experience with electronic health records (EHR)
  • Ability to work in a remote setting, with a suitable home office setup and reliable internet access

Working Conditions

This position can be performed in our office or remotely, depending on the preference of the candidate. If working remotely, the candidate must have a suitable home office setup with reliable internet access. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with flexibility to accommodate occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
