Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Medical Biller at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with processing insurance claims through private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Noting and processing all necessary forms from insurance companies
- Assisting patients in navigating the billing and insurance landscape, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures
- Working with doctor's offices and hospitals to obtain charge information and billing details
- Entering all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors
- Following up with clients and payments, as needed
- Answering phones, assisting clients with questions, taking messages, and screening calls
- Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Strong customer service skills and a patient-centric approach
- Previous experience with medical coding or billing is desired, but not required
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
