What you´ll do Lead new product development for semiconductor adhesives while documenting progress and results Provide technical support to customers and analyze results after product release Record, organize and communicate experimental data Explore new technology, product, or performance improvement opportunities Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling materials Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations Maintain laboratory equipment, storage areas, and workspaces Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations and policies Actively participate in scientific publications and forums Collaborate with product management, production and sourcing teams to develop new products Support manufacturing to ensure quality product delivery Communicate with stakeholders and use feedback to optimize processes and meet customer needs Attend or present technical work at business meetings and conferences What makes you a good fit PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Sciences, Materials Science, or related fields (preferred) Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of strong product development experience Industrial or academic research experience in thermoset materials, especially epoxy resins Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with adhesive formulations, electronic materials, and/or semiconductor packaging processes Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Proven innovation and experimental design capability Professional laboratory skills Ability to work autonomously and lead multiple projects Some benefits of joining Henkel Health Insurance: affordable plans for medical, dental, vision and wellbeing starting on day 1 Work-Life Balance: Paid time off including sick, vacation, holiday and volunteer time, flexible & hybrid work policies (depending on role), and vacation buy / sell program Financial: 401k matching, employee share plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares, annual performance bonus, service awards and student loan reimbursement Family Support: 12-week gender neutral parental leave (up to 20 weeks for parents giving birth), fertility support, adoption & surrogacy reimbursement, discounted child and elderly care, and scholarships Career Growth: diverse national and international growth opportunities, access to thousands of skills development courses, and tuition reimbursement The salary for this role is $80000.00 - $95000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
