Salesforce Administrator

Remote · USA Full-time New today

Description: Are you a builder who loves taking a clear set of requirements and turning them into clean, efficient technology? We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our highly collaborative tech team. Working alongside our Data Operations Lead and under the direct mentorship of our Solutions Architect, you will own the daily administration and configuration of our Salesforce environment. Instead of gathering requirements from scratch, you will partner with our internal analysts and advisors to take well-defined operational needs and build the Custom Objects, Record Types, and automated processes that make their jobs easier. This is not a "sit in the basement and reset passwords" IT job. You will be highly visible and deeply integrated into the operational heartbeat of the firm. You will have the unique opportunity to be mentored by a senior Solutions Architect, giving you the "training wheels" and support needed to advance your skills in declarative automation and complex system design. Because our firm is rapidly growing, you will not just maintain a static system; you will actively build new solutions, document technical processes, and level up your own architecture skills along the way. What You’ll Do

  • Core Administration: Serve as the primary driver for day-to-day configuration, user provisioning, and system maintenance. Take ownership of building and maintaining Custom Objects, Record Types, Page Layouts, Security Settings, and Validation Rules.
  • Automation & Growth: Maintain our existing automated processes. Under the guidance of our Solutions Architect, you will actively learn to design, build, and troubleshoot advanced Salesforce Flows.
  • Technical Execution: Work closely with our internal team to take clearly defined operational requirements and execute clean, scalable technical builds in Salesforce. Manage and optimize Action Plans to ensure standardized workflows for client servicing.
  • Documentation & Training: Own the technical and end-user documentation lifecycle. You will write and maintain clear SOPs and training materials using Google Workspace and generative AI tools.

What’s in it for you? We provide a total rewards package focused on your health, family, and financial security. This includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options alongside company-paid disability and life insurance. We support your work-life balance with PTO, paid holidays, volunteer time off, and paid parental leave. Finally, we invest in your future through a 401(k) plan and a robust Employee Assistance Program. Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with your Salesforce administration experience. Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Salesforce Fluency: Strong foundational knowledge of data architecture (Custom Objects, Record Types, Page Layouts) and security models (Roles, Profiles, Sharing Rules). Active Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is strongly preferred.
  • Automation Potential: You do not need to be a Flow master on day one, but you must understand the fundamentals of declarative automation (Validation Rules, basic Flow concepts) and possess a strong, demonstrable desire to learn advanced automation design.
  • Execution Mindset: You enjoy taking a well-documented process or requirement and figuring out the most efficient way to build it in the backend.
  • Documentation Skills: Exceptional written communication skills. You take pride in creating clean training materials and organizing knowledge bases.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency within the Google Workspace ecosystem (Docs, Sheets, Drive). Experience utilizing generative AI tools (like NotebookLM, ChatGPT, etc.) for knowledge management is highly desired. Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is a strong plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in an office environment.
  • Working on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting up to 15 pounds.
