Associate Product Manager (CRAFTSMAN)

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is a global leader in manufacturing and innovation, seeking an Associate Product Manager to join their Product Management team. The role involves managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting market research to drive product development and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the complete product lifecycle process, from concept to delivery, alongside the Product Manager
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, finance) to drive and develop new products that meet company objectives
• Work with brand marketing and channel teams to develop product launch and sales promotion programs
• Develop and implement marketing collateral, advertising materials, and web content for your managed product portfolio
• Conduct end-user and competitive market research to determine pricing, margin, and profitability targets
• Support the execution of comprehensive short- and long-term strategic plans for a profitable retail and industrial product portfolio
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and develop a deep understanding of end users to inform new product launches
• Validate product CTQs, testing, and claims with end users
• Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders
• Support special projects as assigned

Skills

• A BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience
• 0-3 years of product management experience, with the ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated problem-solving, research, and analytical abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude, always striving to go above and beyond
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite
