In this role, you will engage with advanced language models, verifying their accuracy and suggesting improvements while documenting challenges faced during the process.
Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on language scenarios
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Skills
- Sinhalese language expertise
- Knowledge of Sinhalese grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics
- Ability to challenge advanced language models on topics like verb conjugation, case system (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive), word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variation
- Experience in documenting failure modes of language models
- Ability to converse with the model on language scenarios
- Skill in verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Ability to capture reproducible error traces
- Skill in suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Sinhalese language, linguistics, or a closely related field
- Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills
