The Outbound Appointment Setter / Telemarketing Specialist will support the sales organization by converting outbound and nurtured leads into scheduled roof inspection appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to targeted homeowner lists, including homeowners with cedar, slate, or specialty roofing systems, leads already included in email and text drip campaigns, aggregator and partner leads that require follow-up and nurturing, and storm-related or time-sensitive opportunities
  • Ask smart discovery questions
  • Handle common objections professionally
  • Clearly explain the value of a roof inspection or consultation
  • Know when to move forward-and when to disqualify
  • Document all call activity and outcomes accurately in the CRM
  • Follow call flows and scripts while keeping conversations natural
  • Maintain follow-up discipline until appointments are booked or leads are fully worked
  • Stay aligned with leadership on campaign focus and priorities

Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer-facing roles
  • Comfort using CRM systems and dialing tools
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
  • Ability to stay organized and consistent in a goal-driven environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in home services, roofing, or insurance restoration
