Legal Assistant

The Legal Assistant will support the Legal Department by assisting with default, collections, litigation, and bankruptcy matters, as well as drafting correspondence and conducting legal research.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with default, collections, litigation, and bankruptcy matters
  • Drafting default notices and other correspondence
  • Tracking and reporting status updates
  • Conducting legal research
  • Maintaining entity filings
  • Processing invoices
  • Providing other support to the Legal Department

Skills

  • Bachelor's/Associate's degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
