Business Development Analyst

JLR is a company dedicated to reimagining modern luxury through its distinct British brands. They are seeking a Business Development Analyst to manage vendor relationships, oversee financial performance analysis, and support various organizational reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of retailer financial performance
• Monitor and manage the department’s annual budget, including cost tracking, monthly accounting activities, purchase order creation, and invoice processing
• Support organizational reporting needs, including dealer candidate pro ‑ formas, Regional Reviews, Business Plans, Executive Team presentations, and other performance-driven projects
• Administer the Business Builder Program, including monthly reconciliations, payment calculations, retailer statements, and management of retailer inquiries
• Manage the Retailer Balanced Scorecard, ensuring accurate preparation, maintenance, and publication
• Maintain and update the internal Retailer database, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered
• Strong analytical, verbal, organizational, and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in automotive business operations or finance-related departments
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial tracking, and financial statement or accounting analysis
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; VBA experience is an asset
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality work
• Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the organization and dealer network
