Financial Analyst

Clarest Health is committed to providing personalized care to healthcare institutions and their patients. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to leverage analytical expertise in supporting forecasting, reporting, modeling, and strategic financial initiatives for pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, performance drivers, variances, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare monthly performance reporting packages, including P&L results, dashboards, variance analysis, and executive insights
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning by reconciling results and recommending corrective actions
  • Build and enhance financial models and maintain automated reporting tools using Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot), SQL, and Power BI
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and data models to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across the organization
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Pharmacy teams on pricing models, margin analysis, vendor programs, and profitability
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, automate workflows, and strengthen data reliability
  • Maintain customer performance reporting, support financial monitoring, assist with inventory reconciliation, and contribute to key projects as assigned
  • Must adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent and 1-3 years of financial/business experience required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to effectively organize large data files required
  • Knowledge of a broad range of other technologies (e.g. SQL, Power BI/Tableau, NetSuite, claims/ERP data experience, Python.) preferred
