Job Title: Sandbox EHRM Implementation Lead (Health IT) Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview: Emerging Tech is seeking a Sandbox EHRM Implementation Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program. This role is responsible for coordinating sandbox environment activities in support of EHR deployment, ensuring alignment with deployment schedules, and supporting user readiness across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the sandbox team supporting EHR implementation
  • Track, manage, and plan sandbox provisioning in alignment with EHRM deployment schedules
  • Coordinate with deployment, training, and change management teams to ensure users are identified and appropriately provisioned
  • Monitor and track Cerner performance and delivery against sandbox requirements
  • Support planning and execution of sandbox readiness activities across implementation sites
  • Identify risks and support mitigation strategies related to sandbox environments and deployment timelines
  • Track progress across cost, schedule, and performance metrics
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including technical, clinical, and program teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Experience managing Information Technology projects
  • Strong understanding of project management and system lifecycle methodologies
  • Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related technical field
  • In lieu of a degree, 18+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs programs
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record implementation, preferably Cerner
  • Experience working in healthcare IT environments
  • Experience supporting large-scale system deployments
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills

Compensation:

  • Full-Time Direct Hire
  • Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000
