About the Role

The Lead Architect is a senior technical leader within the Professional Services Architecture organization responsible for guiding complex enterprise implementations and elevating architectural excellence across customer engagements.

Lead Architects serve as trusted advisors to both customers and internal teams, helping ensure Alteryx deployments are scalable, production-ready, and aligned with enterprise data strategies. In addition to leading complex solution design, Lead Architects mentor other architects and contribute to architectural standards and best practices across the organization.

This role partners closely with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Experience leadership to support strategic opportunities and ensure successful technical outcomes for enterprise customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead architecture design and implementation for complex enterprise deployments across the Alteryx One platform ecosystem.
  • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for challenging architecture scenarios and high-risk engagements.
  • Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions align with best practices for scalability, performance, and governance.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other architects across the organization.
  • Guide architecture decisions for integrations with modern cloud data platforms, including Google BigQuery / Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure data services.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering during strategic opportunities to validate architecture and delivery feasibility.
  • Advise customers on advanced architecture topics including analytics modernization, platform scaling, and integration strategies.
  • Contribute to architectural standards, reusable solution patterns, and internal enablement resources.

Technical Expertise

  • Deep experience designing enterprise analytics architectures integrating with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, Databricks, and other modern data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of analytics automation, governed analytics pipelines, and enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Experience leading complex technical engagements or multi-workstream implementations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, consulting, or enterprise analytics implementation roles.
  • Proven experience leading complex enterprise customer engagements.
  • Strong expertise with the Alteryx platform and Alteryx One ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor technical professionals and guide architectural decision making.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Compensation 160,000-175,000 plus bonus and Equity
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
