The Role

Were looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who is eager to build and iterate rapidly on our AI-driven platform. This position is remote-first and open to Canadian citizens only. What You'll Do

• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain features across the stackfront-end (Next.js or Remix, Tailwind CSS) and back-end (TypeScript, PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Embrace AI Workflow: Integrate AI-driven tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to automate boilerplate code, streamline testing, and facilitate lightning-fast prototyping.
• Data & Infrastructure: Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and potentially set up AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) to ensure a robust, scalable product.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Participate in collaborative design discussions; proactively shape product features based on user feedback and analytics.
• Quality & Velocity: Balance rapid feature delivery with high-quality code. Use AI-based test suites or coverage tools to guarantee reliability while minimizing manual overhead.
• Ownership & Impact: Influence architectural decisions, experiment with new frameworks and ideas, and solve complex technical challenges that directly impact our product success.

Who You Are

• Modern JS Enthusiast: Comfortable with TypeScript, Next.js or Remix, Tailwind CSS, and Node.js-based back-ends. You love building intuitive UIs and robust APIs.
• AI-First Mindset: You believe in leveraging AI for development workflows be it coding, testing, or research. Tools like Cursor or Copilot are part of your daily arsenal.
• Cloud Curious: Basic experience with AWS or other DevOps processes is highly valued. You're open to learning more about CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Ethics & Values Driven: You take pride in writing clean, secure code and respect your users data and privacy. You're also excited to be part of a mission that supports student success.
• Autonomous & Team-Oriented: You work well independently in a remote setting yet value open communication, mutual support, and shared learning.
