Full-stack Mobile Developer (React Native, Laravel)

Role Description

We're looking for a passionate Full-stack Mobile Developer to join Aralects on a full-time basis (remote or hybrid). You'll be working alongside experts in AI, NLP, and language learning, helping to shape a next-generation platform for Arabic learners worldwide. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality mobile applications (iOS/Android) using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs, databases, and services to support mobile features and business logic.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences from concept to release.
• Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and analytics platforms as needed.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks across the mobile stack.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile and backend development.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and sprint reviews as part of an agile development team.
• Write clear, maintainable documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve product functionality, design, and overall user experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with React Native, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS and modern frontend development best practices.
• Professional experience with PHP Laravel for API development and backend services.
• Experience deploying mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms or DevOps (AWS, GCP, Vercel, etc.).
• UI/UX sensibility and ability to collaborate closely with designers.
• Experience implementing responsive designs and optimizing for mobile performance.
• Experience integrating backend APIs with frontend/mobile applications.
• Good command of version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
