Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join Upland India as a Software Engineer I (Full stack) for our Panviva product. The individual will work with our global development team. 

What would you do?

  • Develop, Review, test and maintain application code
  • Collaborating with other developers and product to fulfil objectives
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
  • Take lead on tasks as needed
  • Jump in and help the team deliver features when it is required

Technical Skills

The following skills are needed for this role.

Experience

·        >2-4 years

Skills to Test

·        Experience with front-end React/Jquery/Javascript, HTML and CSS Frameworks

·        Solid experience in.NET Core, SQL Server, Strong Understanding of OOPs concepts and SOLID principles, Unit testing tools, Debugging techniques

·        SQL or other RDBMS

·         

Primary Skills

·        Real-World Problem Solving

·        Solid understanding of Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

·        Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA for tracking tasks, managing workflows, and collaborating across teams

·        Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams and contributing to iterative development cycles

·        Experience building modern, scalable, reliable applications on the MS Azure cloud such as Azure service bus/Event hubs, App services, Azure cosmos DB, Azure Search etc.,

·        Solid experience in.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server (writing optimized queries, stored procedures, triggers, executing query plans, etc.)

·        API Design (REST)

·        Frontend frameworks (React and/or Angular)

·        Pure JavaScript, jQuery

·        Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, SASS

·        Worked with any cloud-based version control mainly GitHub or Bitbucket

·        Cloud native deployment tools such as AKS

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·       Basic Understanding of AI models

·       Python

·        CRM Integration (Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow)

·        Authentication and Authorization (SAML, OAuth, OpenID, Okta)

·       Logging and monitoring tools such as NewRelic,  Grafana, Cloudwatch etc.,

·       Understanding of containerization and orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes etc.,

·       Azure dev ops or any other CI/CD platforms

Soft Skills

·        Thrives collaborating in a team environment with a diverse range of people

·        Passionate about delivering an amazing customer experience

·        Able to have a change of mind, and able to change the minds of others

·        Write clearly and concisely

·        Capable of working without a company office, with a fully remote team

Qualification

A bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience is required.

This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis. The duration of these overlaps can change depending on the type of meeting.
