Regional Development Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join us here at Covéa Insurance as a Regional Development Manager, within our Commercial Lines Team!

At Covéa Insurance, we’re all about protecting what matters most - whether it’s your home, your car, or your business. With our award-winning customer service and a wide range of insurance products, we’re here to make a real difference.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading commercial business growth across Strategic and Regional brokers in the North West, supporting delivery of business plans.

  • This role is remote based, but with plenty of travel around the North West of England, and to our offices in Manchester and London.

At Covéa, balance matters. We know life is busy, so we’re open to flexible hours, different working patterns, and arrangements that fit your circumstances. Many of our colleagues already work flexibly and we’re always happy to explore what works best for you.

  • Step into a role where your potential is valued and your growth is supported.

What are the core responsibilities?:

  • Working closely with all functions to support the delivery of the Regional Underwritten, Regional E-trade, and Schemes business plans for broker customers

  • Responsible for development of a joint business plan for the broker, and mobilising actions across the business that deliver that plan

  • Achieve the sales plan goals, targets and action plans

  • Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships across Covéa Insurance to ensure personal credibility with key decision makers

  • Build and deploy effective customer account pipeline and prospecting approaches for each broker

  • Provide a service to all of customers (internal and external) that is memorable for the right reasons and builds our reputation as a great company to work for and do business with

  • Adopt highly collaborative approaches to influence delivery of broker business plans across the broader function and across Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Pet & Protection

Do you have what it takes?

  • Excellent sales and relationship-building skills

  • Sound project management and business planning capability

  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and proactively seek solutions and opportunities

  • Track record of sales and relationship development in the C&HNW market

  • Reputation for consistent delivery of excellent service to brokers and customers

Not sure if you tick every box? That’s okay! At Covéa, we understand that not every candidate will meet every requirement listed. If this opportunity excites you and you feel you could be a great fit, we warmly encourage you to apply. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team where everyone has the chance to thrive.
