As a Sr. Associate, Supply Chain Planning, this onsite role is based out of our Fort Worth, Texas Main Campus and is part of Alcon’s Supply Chain function. This role supports the creation of an end‑to‑end supply plan on a monthly basis for the mid‑to‑long term planning horizon, while proactively managing key risks and opportunities related to demand variation, capacity constraints, and material constraints. The Sr. Associate is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient supply of finished goods to customers, while minimizing costs and improving efficiency across the network. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing demand information, adjusting production schedules, managing inventory levels, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely material availability, and aligning closely with production schedules. This role involves making decisions within the scope of assigned responsibilities using advanced analytical skills, handling more complex senior‑level tasks, and adhering to GxP regulations, SOPs, quality standards, and required training, with a strong commitment to compliance and continuous improvement. In this role, a typical day will include: Gather demand information, analyze trends, and adjust production schedules Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability and secure materials while maintaining supplier relationships Align with production schedules Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks using advanced knowledge and analytical skills Handle more complex and senior-level tasks compared to Sr. Associate II Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)
