Snowflake Data Architect

CTG is seeking to fill a Snowflake Data Architect position for our client.

Location: Remote Duration: 4+ months, with possibility for extension

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouses and pipelines.
• Develop dimensional/Kimball data models and ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Leverage Snowflake features: streams, tasks, materialized views, data sharing, and performance tuning.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms and other data tools.
• Maintain Git version control and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

Required Skills

• Hands-on Snowflake experience and strong data architecture knowledge.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling (dimensional/Kimball).
• ETL/ELT tools expertise.
• Cloud platform experience.
• Git and CI/CD familiarity.
• Understanding of Snowflake architecture, storage, compute, and governance.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, focused on Snowflake and cloud data platforms.
• Experience designing secure, high-performing, scalable data solutions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
