Experienced Customer Experience Banker – Glendale Branch

As a Customer Experience Banker, you'll be a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit, and other banking products and services.

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Banker in our Glendale branch. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products, and proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues

  • Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
  • Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership
  • Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales

  • Cash handling skills
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong sales and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
