Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Risk Management Professional to join our Model Risk Governance and Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing and controlling model risk, with a focus on Gen AI (Large Language Models) and AI-based models for marketing, credit, fraud, or other business/risk types. Your expertise will help drive business growth, enhance investor value, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Risk Management Professional, you'll be responsible for:

• Directly overseeing business-wide models, with a focus on Gen AI (Large Language Models) and AI-based models for marketing, credit, fraud, or other business/risk types
• Conducting thorough risk assessments and establishing robust frameworks to strengthen model risk controls and meet elevated regulatory guidelines
• Conducting AI/ML research to identify opportunities to enhance model performance and drive business impact
• Presenting results to stakeholders, senior management, and other model councils
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective risk management strategies

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, finance, or computer science
• At least 5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on model risk governance and compliance
• Proven expertise in Gen AI (Large Language Models) and AI-based models for marketing, credit, fraud, or other business/risk types
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• A master's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, finance, or computer science
• Certification in risk management, such as the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation
• Experience with AI/ML research and development
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as Basel III and the Dodd-Frank Act
