Financial Reporting Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing, Denver-based service company to identify a Staff Accountant for their high-performing accounting team. Position Overview

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s core accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This position is well-suited for candidates looking to build on a strong accounting foundation and gain exposure to a sophisticated, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to leadership
• Assist with external audit requests and documentation
• Help drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience (audit) is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-performance environment
