Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS local event-driven services, such as Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions. They will also have experience with data engineering best practices, including data modeling, data quality, and data security. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS advancements
  • Develop and implement personalization calculations using Python and Pydantic models
  • Design and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases
  • Use Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong understanding of AWS local event-driven services
  • Experience with data engineering best practices, including data modeling, data quality, and data security
  • Experience with Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Experience with personalization, Python, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL
  • Experience with Amazon Kinesis
