The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Imports Team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in managing import customer service and ensuring accurate data entry processes within our Cargowise system. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring manual data entry into the Cargowise system is executed accurately and swiftly
• Offering excellent customer service to import clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Monitoring customer accounts, making sure they are up-to-date and accurate
• Taking appropriate actions based on customer account status
• Assisting in the implementation of Cargowise, contributing to the improvement of our logistics operations
• Maintaining comprehensive records of customer credit applications, ensuring they are processed efficiently
• Supporting the team in managing import containers, ensuring their proper handling in our logistics operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 1 year experience working within a logistics or similar industry
• Proven experience in a data entry role
• Proficiency in using Cargowise software
• Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment

Nice-to-Haves
