Position Summary

This position is ideal for individuals who have the drive and desire to ‘make things happen. It requires a highly motivated individual with attention to detail, great organizational skills, and a passion for communication and connecting with others. Outcomes and Accomplishments

As a Subtitling Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle of subtitling projects allotted.

  • Coordinate projects with rapid Turnaround Times (TAT), ensuring seamless execution under tight deadlines.

  • Primarily support the production and localization lifecycle of trailers and other high-priority promotional assets.

  • Be accountable for on-time delivery strictly respecting project milestones, procedures, and client specification.

  • Liaise with the Marketing Producers on determining workflow and steps to be followed for all projects being assigned.

  • Create detailed Plan of Action and clearly communicate information about projects in the pipeline to external linguists/vendors and the internal stakeholders in different time zones.

  • Ensure all work in progress tasks are on track with updating trackers and running daily reports to denote accurate status of projects.

  • Resolve technical flags and pending queries from internal production departments and external stakeholders.

  • Update work trackers to ensure projects being assigned to users in a timely fashion and to denote accurate status of projects.

  • Proactively identify and resourcefully troubleshoot potential issues with projects in progress.

  • Perform a secondary sync check on the proxy and an asset check on scripts provided, before launching a project.

  • Be responsible for resolving all payments monthly.

  • Coordinate redeliveries and rejections, identify their causes, complete Corrective Action Reports where applicable, and propose solutions to meet KPI targets.

  • Remain flexible and put the needs of the client first, this may involve working outside shift hours to ensure deliveries are met.

  • Have excellent, transparent, and timely communication skills with great attention to detail.

What you bring

 

  • BA or BS degree preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Fluency in another language is a plus.

  • 1-2 year-experience in Media/Localisation industry, but entry-level candidates will be considered.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Team player with ability to multitask and work under pressure of deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data base software.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends if needed to meet specific project deadlines.

  • Prior experience in marketing is a plus, providing the necessary context for handling publicity-driven content and specifications.
