Junior Agency Sales Representative (Hybrid)
First American is dedicated to providing its policy-issuing agents with resources and support for success. The Junior Agency Sales Representative role is designed to prepare an individual for advancement into a Sales Representative position by mastering the sales process and building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Learn and master the sales process and understand the products and services offered
- Learn sales administration by participating in sales office functions
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Conduct market research and develop sales strategies; gather and analyze information to build knowledge base and identify trends for assigned territory/product
- Observe the sales process by calling on accounts; adhere to established sales steps
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities; read sales and marketing publications
- Prepare and deliver product presentations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in sales or customer service
- Requires a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to influence and persuade others
- Enthusiastic, optimistic, persistent and resilient personality; able to handle rejection
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
