Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced convenience store environment. You will be responsible for handling customer transactions, stocking merchandise, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and working collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable
- Handle customer transactions, including cash, credit card, and mobile payments
- Stock merchandise on sales floor and in coolers, ensuring that shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing
- Work collaboratively with other store employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and loss prevention
Physical Requirements
* Standing: 90%
- Lifting: up to 40# for stocking shelves, coolers, and back room
- Reaching: daily (above head – cigarette racks, storage shelves, etc.)
- Bending: daily (down and side to side)
- Pushing: brooms, mops, dolly on wheels daily
- Pulling: cart daily
Qualifications
* Outgoing and able to work pleasantly with the public
- Ability to work shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Honest and dependable
- Reliable transportation and phone communication
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in customer service or retail preferred
Essential Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to lift up to 40# and stand for long periods

* Previous experience in customer service or retail
- Knowledge of convenience store operations and inventory management
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
