[Remote] Aviation Data Specialist

They are looking for an Aviation Data Specialist to enhance solutions for government and military clients, focusing on aviation safety initiatives and analyzing global aeronautical data.
Responsibilities
- Utilize established processes and tools to create and maintain geospatial assets that drive our mission forward
- Ensure that all assets meet stringent regulatory and contractual requirements, playing a vital role in our commitment to excellence
- Proactively seek clarification on any source or specification ambiguities
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to uphold the highest standards of data integrity and reliability
- Collaborate effectively with a remote team, leveraging technical guidance from senior members while embracing new software and adapting to evolving workflows
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in GIS Mapping Software (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS and/or QGIS)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools
- Experience working remotely
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Background in piloting, navigating, flight planning, or navigation systems
- College degree in geography, cartography, geographic information systems, aviation, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience with GIS Mapping Software
