Marketing Operations and Event Coordinator

Celestica is a global leader in design, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage logistics for international trade shows and events, ensuring smooth operations and effective vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the end-to-end logistics for a high volume of tradeshows including material coordination, global shipping, and real-time tracking for all deliveries
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external events such as catering, shipping and signage
  • Attend select trade shows and events to manage operations and ensure a high impact experience
  • Manage full vendor processes from onboarding and contract execution in Ivalua to invoice management in SAP for a high volume of projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors
  • Update marketing resources on Celestica’s intranet including quarterly updates and sales and marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the brand and marketing team to order, manage and distribute company branded merchandise for various events and marketing programs
  • Support the brand and logo items program by managing the online store, restocks and catalogue
  • Support broader brand and marketing initiatives

Skills

  • A university degree or college diploma, or the equivalent in working experience as a seasoned administrative professional or coordinator for international events or tradeshows
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A 'logistics-first' mindset with the ability to manage complex shipping schedules, vendors, and inventory with precision
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, global vendors, and external partners
  • Have a great eye for detail with a proactive mindset to solve challenges
  • Able to juggle multiple deadlines and workflows
  • May be required to lift up to 30lbs
