[Remote] REO Closing Coordinator - Remote

The REO Closing Coordinator position is responsible for ensuring assets close according to the terms of purchase contracts while meeting client needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing reports to determine status of each asset
- Data entry as each step of closing process is complete
- Review data entry in each SOR for accuracy
- Obtain, review and execute deeds, HUDs and other closing documents as needed to complete closing
- Communicate with vendors, clients, lenders and various county and city offices
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
Skills
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 year of prior work-related experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- High ethical standards and personal qualities
- Motivated, positive, team player
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve in a growing, expanding business
- REO/Foreclosure experience
- Read and understand real estate contracts/purchase agreements
- Read and understand all closing/lender documents- including HUD 1 settlement statements and deeds
- Basic knowledge of title issues and problem resolution of these issues
