Email Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing email marketing campaigns, optimizing performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of all aspects of email marketing from lifecycle management, email ideation through to execution, and reporting on campaign performance
  • Collaborate to help drive the creative production process: developing creative briefs, planning, scheduling, and deployment
  • Optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, revenue lift, and engagement
  • Recommend and implement A/B testing initiatives to continuously improve performance, including subject lines, send times, content, and CTAs
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics of email campaigns and set up test plans to improve the campaign performance
  • Manage audience segmentation, behavioral targeting, and classification to maximize engagement across new users and existing customers
  • Build, test, and optimize templates tailoring content to customer preferences (examples: language, location, product interests, behavior, etc.)
  • Assist Email Marketing Manager in the transition to new ESP/CRM platform. This includes data migration, audience segmentation overhauls, journey and flow management, new launches, etc
  • Own briefing process for Email & SMS channels. This includes managing creative deadlines, communicating email needs inclusive of imagery, copy, and linking strategy
  • Stay current on email best practices, industry trends and deliverability standards, and proactively bring recommendations to the team
  • Partner with internal teams including digital, ecommerce, creative, and marketing to ensure that all deliverables are strategically aligned

Skills
