Marketing Lead

Location: California (Pacific Time Zone preferred)

Reports to: Vice President of Marketing

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager who can think at a high level while executing with precision. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving B2B environment and is comfortable building campaigns, developing content, supporting sales initiatives, and driving measurable growth. This role directly contributes to pipeline growth, market expansion, and customer engagement across key industrial sectors.

Working closely with the InSource Solutions marketing team and cross-functional teams, you will execute marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, support pipeline growth, and position InSource Solutions as a leader in digital transformation lifecycle management.

We are a small but mighty team, so this role requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and doing the work while contributing ideas that improve performance and scalability. You will have visibility across leadership and the opportunity to influence marketing strategy, messaging, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

·         Support development and execution of marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives

·         Translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions and messaging

·         Identify market opportunities within manufacturing and industrial organizations

Digital Marketing & Demand Generation

·         Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across email, web, social, events, and partner programs

·         Manage website updates, SEO optimization, and digital performance improvements

·         Continuously test, monitor and optimize marketing campaigns to improve lead generation, conversion and pipeline contribution

·         Support account-based marketing and targeted outreach initiatives

Content & Brand Management

·         Develop and manage content including case studies, white papers, solution briefs, web content and thought leadership

·         Ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment across channels

·         Translate technical and engineering concepts into clear business value

Analytics & Performance

·         Track campaign performance and report on KPIs including engagement, leads, and pipeline contribution

·         Utilize tools such as GA4, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and SEO tools to inform decisions

·         Use data to translate performance insights into actionable recommendations that drive measurable growth

Partner & Event Marketing

·         Support marketing initiatives with strategic partners, including AVEVA

·         Assist with trade shows, conferences, workshops, and customer events

·         Manage agency and vendor relationships, deliverables, and performance expectations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·         Work closely with sales, technical teams, and leadership

·         Support product launches and solution positioning

·         Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed

·         Support sales enablement through creation of tools, presentations, and campaign alignment

Experience & Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required

·         10+ years of B2B marketing experience (process industries, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial technology preferred)

·         Familiarity with industrial automation, digital transformation, or AVEVA technologies is a strong plus

·         Experience supporting full-funnel marketing programs from awareness to pipeline contribution

·         Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to streamline workflows, generate insights, and enhance marketing performance

·         Strong project management and organizational skills

·         Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

·         Experience managing external vendors and agencies

·         Working knowledge of SEO, emerging generative search optimization (GEO), GA4, website management, and digital marketing performance metrics

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Strategic hands-on contributor who is comfortable doing the work

·         Collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented

·         Comfortable working in a technical, engineering-focused environment

·         Must be willing to support West Coast time zone
