Join Our Team as a Document Review Lawyer at Axiom

We are currently seeking Document Review Lawyer with claims review experience to join our legal team and provide support to our Fortune 500 clients. This role will be remote in the Greater Toronto area. Candidates must demonstrate full professional fluency in French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken contexts.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies, contracts, and legal standards
  • Analyze complex and legacy claims, including historical files that may be incomplete, technical, or difficult to interpret
  • Conduct detailed document review in both French and English, ensuring consistency and accuracy across bilingual materials
  • Perform discovery-related tasks, including document review, issue spotting, and organization of materials for legal proceedings
  • Execute privilege review to identify and appropriately categorize protected or confidential documents.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of claims, investigations, employment experience
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Strong attention to detail (document-heavy review work)
  • Ability to handle sensitive subject matters
  • Legal review / claims processing background
  • Experience with document review is preferred

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for these roles is $125,000-$130,000.Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
