Job Summary

As a Remote Hotel Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers on substantial loss assignments, coordinating hotel stays within budget, and serving as a resource for all concierge functions and systems. You'll work closely with other support departments to ensure seamless transactions for clients, monitor the job throughout the entire process, and adhere to procedures of the referring client.

Key Responsibilities

* Triages substantial residential and commercial property losses by assessing client needs

  • Serves as the point of contact for a variety of clientele
  • Provides exceptional customer service and coordinates hotel stays within budget provided by the insurance company
  • Coordinates with other support departments to ensure seamless transactions for clients
  • Assists with special projects and training of new colleagues on processes and systems
  • Attends scheduled work hours and performs other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required

  • Three (3) years of customer concierge or claims customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Strong knowledge of concierge department systems and processes
  • Detailed knowledge of other support departments
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and handle conflict
  • Detailed knowledge of managed repair strategies and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work with other departments to accomplish objectives
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience working with diverse populations and cultures
