Job Description

As a Full Stack Data Engineer on our Data Platform Development team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop scalable and efficient data solutions that meet the needs of our users. Your expertise will help us to improve our data processing capabilities, enhance our analytics tools, and drive business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop highly scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python, Scala, or Java

• Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms
• Work with our data engineers to design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions
• Develop and maintain APIs and services to support data access and integration
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of our data engineering practices and standards
• Collaborate with our product managers to identify and prioritize data-related features and requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation for our data infrastructure and services

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and other data storage solutions
• Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Flink
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
• Experience with data security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS
