Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases by entering new and updated customer and account information. You will also be responsible for preparing source data for computer entry, establishing entry priorities, and resolving deficiencies by using standard procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining database accuracy by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Establishing entry priorities to ensure efficient and effective data entry
  • Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies
  • Resolving deficiencies by using standard procedures
  • Collaborating with employees and customers to collect information and update databases
  • Identifying and correcting errors, and swiftly bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and data entry software

Preferred Qualifications
