Position Overview

As a Treasury Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in our efforts to reunite unclaimed properties with their rightful owners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Conducting thorough research to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities, and/or safe deposit box contents
  • Reviewing and analyzing a wide variety of legal documents and informational paperwork submitted by claimants
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data and ensuring the security of our systems and processes
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner

  • Conduct thorough research to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities, and/or safe deposit box contents
  • Review and analyze a wide variety of legal documents and informational paperwork submitted by claimants
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and ensure the security of our systems and processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems (Treasury Customer Service Representative 6)
  • Two years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 (Treasury Customer Service Representative 7)
  • Three years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including two years equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 or one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 7 (Treasury Customer Service Representative E8)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center environment

  • Knowledge of unclaimed property laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
