[Remote] Data Migration Specialist

The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for executing customer data migrations into the TraceGains platform, collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth implementations and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end data migrations including source analysis, schema mapping, data transformation, and validation across CSV, Excel, and XML formats
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate data mapping, transformation, and validation processes, improving efficiency and accuracy
  • Write and execute custom SQL scripts to transform, clean, and prepare customer data for migration and ongoing data management
  • Respond to basic customer API inquiries and perform first-level troubleshooting; escalate more complex issues to senior API specialists
  • Provide backup support for setting up and configuring TraceGains workbooks, including field mapping and initial system configuration
  • Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to data discrepancies, configuration errors, and platform behavior
  • Assist with standard configuration setup for new customers by following established implementation processes and documentation

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in data migration, data analysis, system configuration, or a related technical role
  • Demonstrated ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
  • Hands-on experience performing data migrations, including source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and validation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., large datasets, VLOOKUP) and experience working with structured data formats such as CSV, Excel, and XML
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish
