Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in Virginia and North Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues, as well as patient services needs. If you have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming calls from patients and members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Research and resolve issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues
  • Update billing information, establish payment plans, and resolve payment inquiries for patients
  • Provide patient scheduling and other patient services as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Two years of customer service experience required
  • Previous data entry experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a high-volume call center environment

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
